In the beginning of time, there was a darkness. that darkness swarmed across the lands, killing, enslaving, and corrupting all that it came across. Then a resistance was made: A band of fighters who refused to bow down to this darkness, and fought back. There were 8 leaders of this group, each with a special, magical companion who had mysteriously hatched from an Elemental Egg. These 8, with the help of the resistance, were able to drive back the darkness, and free their lands.
It has been thousands of years since those events, and the darkness has come again, but with no heroes, they took over the entirety of the land. Now, a new resistance is forming, and the chosen ones are slowly finding their Elemental Eggs...
I am sorry that I have disappeared for these last few months. I have been preoccupied with other sites and life, but now I'm back, and ready to start accepting some new heroes! With Earth resigning, we have the Earth creature Willow open for a new earth hero!
Necia looked down at the wolf cub and knelt down to pick it up. She nursed it in her arms gently and let the conversation go on around her.
Faolan.
She knew already that would be his name, she didn't need to know any more. She pondered what an Elemental hero was, and tried to remember back to tales that had reached far and wide about them when she was younger. She stood up slowly and that there were people leaving, though there was still some eggs left.
"What about the other eggs?" She asked, gently scratching the behind Faolan's ears.
Necia turned and licked her lips, she nodded and took in the appearance of the new arrival.
"So it would seem." She said in a gentle voice. "My name's Necia." She said speaking her name for the first time.
"You are?" She asked in a patient voice. She knew she had to trust that nothing would happen to the other eggs, after all, nothing had ever happened to her egg until she had arrived.
Necia nodded and smiled. It seemed to be just the two of them there now.
She looked with interest at Nox and tilted her head.
"Sorry if this seems rude, but, what is Nox?"
She asked, with the other creatures she had seen, it had been obvious, the polar bear, her wolf, the dragon and tiger and a baby, but Nox, puzzled her. She had never seen anything like him, or, her.
Necia nodded slowly, that made some kind of sense to her, that the hero of death would have a demon as her creature. She was glad that neither of them had taken offense to her uncertainty.
Necia smiled as the baby demon spoke. "I'm sure you will." She said in all seriousness, mentally making a note to try and remain on the good side of the pair, or at least a mutual side.
She lifted one hand in a farewell wave as the pair departed the grove. Necia looked at the last two eggs, and then at her wolf cub.
"Perhaps we should depart too Faolan..." She said to him quietly.
He shifted slightly in her arms and she turned and left the grove.
